Booster Buddy

Booster Buddy is an app designed to help teens/young adults (who struggle with mental illness) with self-care. You get to pick a cute animal to be your buddy and then have to complete tasks to wake it up. You can set it to remind you to take your meds and it has suggestions for coping skills and tips for different issues that are common in mental illness (sleep issues, motivation, some things to try if you are experiencing hallucinations/delusions, etc).

I’m a little older than the target audience but I downloaded this app today because it’s cute and looks like it could be helpful.

Here’s my little buddy:

Cute, right? Apparently by doing tasks I can earn coins to buy stuff for it, like that blue hat.

Anyway, it’s free and definitely worth a look if you like using daily apps like this.
